– Roshan Yadama
As Director of Research Services for BEKhealth, how would you describe your role and responsibilities?
The role I have is growing and will morph over time, but essentially, I am responsible for anything external-facing and for ensuring client success. I came to BEK with experience leading implementations for large health systems – handling strategic planning with executives and stakeholder management as the majority of my day-to-day responsibilities. At BEK, I will be looking at how we can continuously improve our implementations and explore all the ways we can ensure that our existing customers and their patients are getting the most out of our products. I also plan to grow our team to help identify challenges potential clients may have, how BEK can help, and how we support the onboarding of new clients to ensure they have a great experience with BEKhealth from day one.
What compelled you to join BEKhealth?
I was looking for a new career opportunity in general, but the reason I chose BEK was the team itself and the culture that has been fostered. As I met with the team over several weeks, it was evident to me that they were very genuine and had a clear mission. Having worked in the healthcare space, you can get a sense pretty quickly as to which companies have a good product, good leadership, and a chance to “make it.” BEK is 100% on the right path.
What do you think sets BEKhealth apart from the many companies providing technology and software solutions to the healthcare industry?
BEKhealth has a very clear vision in mind, and that is to partner with healthcare organizations to understand their challenges and rapidly help them expand their clinical research footprint. Healthcare organizations know, more than anyone else, what is best for them and what would benefit their clinical research functions. One of BEK’s real strengths is our willingness and ability to pivot and shift to meet the specific goals of a client. There isn’t one set way of doing things and there is an open-mindedness throughout the company. Additionally, we’re helping patients more easily find the right clinical trials without having to exclusively rely on their physicians. With the ability of our platform to parse through data and match patients with the right trials, we have the potential to improve outcomes for patients and change their lives.
What are some of your professional and personal ambitions as you join the BEKhealth team?
For the company, it’s all about rapid growth. We want to enlist as many organizations as possible as true partners. There’s a lot of opportunities out there with so many clinical trials being run all the time. We want to find those groups that may be hitting speed bumps and show them how easy BEKhealth is to implement and use from Day One. On a personal level, I am excited to be part of a leadership team and be able to contribute to the direction of the company as we move forward and grow.
